Seems I've neglected this place again. This should clear out the tumbleweeds!
Our club President Josh has started travelling to interstate tourneys regularly, and asked us to commission a display board for his army. THe catch was that he wanted it to fold up like a suitcase for easy transportability. Being way too much a wiener to use powertools, Viv did all the carpentry while I did the building of the scenery itself. All of the scenery elements are magnatised while the terrain is fixed. The stairs and the columns cover up the hinges when the board is open and two pieces of wood are slotted with magnets to keep the board open and flat. It turned out pretty good for an experiment.

Caravan of Courage
Here is a WIP of the caravan that is part of the new board commission (there is a reason for it's weird modern/antiquated look which will become clear soon!). Lots of details to add to it still, but it's shaping up nicely:

New Car Smell!
Cars!
The new table commission I mentioned yesterday is gearing up, I'm designing templates and such as I type. I promise I'll reveal what is is IN PICTURE FORM when I have some of the basics built. I think it's shaping up to be something quite special and unique I think.
In the meantime, here are the first pieces I've finished for the new table., some 1:48 scale toy cars I distressed and painted up today (the table has a bit of a Post Apocalyptic vibe going on).
Mostly done with different shades of spray paint and some stippling + dry brushing for some more controlled rust. The flat tires were done by melting them with a lighter (which I wasn't sure would work so I'm glad I didn't ruin them!) and the broken glass by actually braking it (CAREFULLY) in some places and scoring it with a knife in others.
I'm pretty pleased with how these came out and maybe even inspired to build a Fallout style Post Apoc table in the future!

Product Pimp: Battle Bits Resin Bases
We've been slowly working on some resin bases when we have time to spare for it at the store over the last few months. Some of them are now available on our online store. We are working on more all the time and have some that are having molds poured as I type, so check back soon!
These two sets I designed. The "Ruined Lab" bases are similar to the bases I made for all my Pulp City stuff, only much more detailed. 40mm + 50mm Junkyard bases are being molded at the moment
Have a look here if you're keen!: http://www.battlebunker.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=210_211
