"A PRIZE EVERYTIME"
Big update! Here's where I'm at now. So close to finish, some more minor polish and details on these pieces then trapeze, big-top roof, bleachers and centre ring and then it's DONE! The second sideshow game still needs to have the milk bottles and rubber rings added to it and the duck hunt needs GUNS but it's getting so much closer!

The Roustabout
Work continues!
I have the frame all finished, glued down and primed brown. I've layed down a layer of sand on the tent floor also. It's all feeling very solid which is awesome.
Here's a look at what's on my work bench. Most of these models have been on there for an embarrassingly long time.
Viv has been going mould crazy today. He claims to have made 8 new moulds today so lots of new base sets. Keep a look out on our online store for them!

Send in the Clowns!
So I made a good bit of progress today on the main structure of the new commission table, which I will now reveal!
DUN DUN DAAAHHHH!!
So as you can maybe perhaps possibly make out this is the beginings of the structure of a massive Circus tent!
The interior is going to be completly playable and is the centrepiece of this 2'x2' board for the Post Apocalyptic skirmish game Eden from Taban Miniatures. One of the factions is a Jokeresque group of Clowns so the client wanted a dilaptidated circus tent and a few other carnival bits and piece with some of the usual post apoc trappings. I really dug the concept so it's fun to dive into it.
I made a master of one the frame sides and then moulded it up and made a bunch of casts out of resin (the different coloured sections are due to me experimenting with dyes). I still need to build the framing for the entrance and cut the baseboard but it's starting to look like something now!
The framing is going to be painted and draped in canvas later on. The biggest challenge is going to be the roof shape of the tent but I have some ideas that should see it through.

More updates to come!

Caravan of Courage
Here is a WIP of the caravan that is part of the new board commission (there is a reason for it's weird modern/antiquated look which will become clear soon!). Lots of details to add to it still, but it's shaping up nicely:

Terrain: Eldar Pieces
Just before Xmas a customer came into the store looking for Eldar terrain for her Son. Being kinda adverse to 40k I hadn't built anything like this before so I it was fun to do something different. Pretty happy with the outcome though the pieces arn't as clean as I would like. I really should get around to building more 40k stuff as it's by far the most popular game in the store and I get kinda miffed seeing Space Marines ramapaging though a Western frontier town every week!

Update!
So! I have been ridiculously fucking slack with this here blog, so here is what we've been working on lately!
So just like everyone else on the planet, we've been getting into Dystopian Wars by Spartan Games. I've been making good progress on my Prussian fleet which I'll snap some pics of soon.
A new scale also means new terrain so I built a couple of seafaring tables for the store. Viv posted a couple of videos featuring them on his channel so here those are:
Also this progress one for the airport table which is now 95% finished on our BBTV channel:
ALSO also here are a bunch of pics of them in use from our DW open/demo day from last weekend. The second table hasn't got the resin water on it yet in these pics, but it is finished now as of yesterday. I'll snap some detail pics soon. Next up will be some Antarctic islands I think. Also looking forward to the land units coming out and going to town with some 2mm land based stuff!
I also built a new Pulp City table for the store using Worldworks stuff (if you don't know them check them out, amazing Cardstock stuff. Be sure to pick up one of the sets I designed ;) ). Been trying to get more Pulp Figures painted too and have been making good progress. Heaps of minions and junk getting some love (blah blah pics soon). Here's some pics from our demo/open day a few weeks back:
Apart from that I have been doing a ton of scenery commissions. Most of it is just the stuff we have on ebay but one or two things are a bit more exciting. I must remember to snap pics before mailing the shit out. We also finnally sold the Bayou Table which was a nice suprise.
I promise not to neglect this joint for another 3 months!
